In an Instagram post on Athlete.and.Out, an Instagram channel that celebrates Gay & Lesbian athletes, Michael Gunning a competitive swimmer, part of the Jamaican national team, is aspiring to participate in Tokyo 2021. The London-based athlete and TV personality’s goal is to improve the perception of gay people in Jamaica by being a positive role model in the country.
