OutCaribe in Caribbean LGBTQ History
OutCaribe is a media brand from HALO Entertainment based in Kingston, Jamaica, and has been in the business of Gay Digital Media, Events, and the Entertainment Scene since 2005.
We launched the first Caribbean gay social network back in 2007 called Rainbowvibes.com and connected thousands of people in the Caribbean and from 35 Countries around the world, plus we’re responsible for at least 3 marriages. We co-owned a Gay Bar called HALO in the hills of Kingston, Jamaica, and produced safe spaces and parties from 2005 to 2009.
We also produced the highly impactful Annual Halo Pop Week – the week of deals from LGBTQ Owned and Friendly brands in Jamaica. …the Caribbean is next. The annual event is endorsed and promoted by Advocacy Group and Equality for All Foundation (JFLAG) and also the LGBT Chamber of Commerce Group- Jamaica Association of Diverse Businesses (JADB)
